Join Doug Billings, as he navigates the internal strife that's dividing our conservative ranks. The Missouri Freedom Caucus stands as a beacon, championing America-first policies in the face of fierce opposition from RINOs ensnared in their web of obstruction.

Speaker 1:

The Right Side with Doug Billings.

Speaker 2:

Hey everybody, my name is General Mike Flynn. I'm here to do a big shout out for my great friend and one of the best in the business, mr Doug Billings. Right Side with Doug Billings. Right Side with Doug Billings. Doug is the future of the airwaves when it comes to independent broadcasters and podcasters. He is the new Rush Limbaugh. He's exactly what America needs right now looking for honesty, looking for wisdom, looking for truth, looking for patriotism. Listen to Doug Billings at Right Side with Doug Billings.

Speaker 1:

God bless you and God bless America and thank you, ladies and gentlemen, we are winning, we're winning, winning, winning. Welcome to the Right Side with Doug Billings. Are you ready?

Speaker 3:

We are not liberal snowflakes who melt away in the face of tragedy, adversity and challenge. We are a covenant nation under God and His divine providence is not dead and it's not gone. It is living within each and every one of you, and you will bring it to life in such a way that the world has never seen before. We never back down, we never give up. We march forward. Go Doug.

Speaker 1:

Good Hi everybody. Welcome to the Right Side with Doug Billings, a special edition of the program. Today I'm going to be speaking with Missouri Senator Bill Igel. Bill is also running for the governor of the state and those of you who watch the show on a regular basis, you know that Missouri is my home state. I was born and raised in the Kansas City area and still keep my eye on home, or at least my peripheral vision. I keep it on the great state of Missouri and I'm always interested as to what is going on over there.

Speaker 1:

And this week in the Senate a lot of Jackassery broke out and it was, on one hand it's funny and you'll see why and you'll understand why in a moment, but on the other hand, it's infuriating because it deals with this rhino issue that we have, you know, republicans in name only, who they get elected. They for you know, for putting forth true conservative America or Missouri first values. But then they change, and over time, because they're influenced by outside money, outside state lines, you know, in this case, missouri. But this is important for all of you, no matter where you live. Missouri is an example of what happens in every state the infection of rhinos. And we have got. You know, the Republican Party is being reborn to a true conservative America first state first. In this case, insert Missouri. You could be in Kansas, you could be in Florida, you could be in California, whatever your state first. And rhinos stand in the way. On paper, missouri has a super majority. They should be able to get any of their conservative agenda items done, legislation passed, but they don't. Because of the rhino problem. And in this case two rhinos in particular, caleb Rowden and Cindy O'Loughlin, have come out this week and removed true America, missouri first conservatives from their leadership roles in committee. Why? Because they're trying to hold the elected class accountable to you, the people, and I mean we're talking about removing, taking away their parking spaces, taking away their offices, and now they're talking about removing the furniture from the offices of these senators. The senators, you know we spoke with Rick Bratton the other day, but on the phone, and texted Denny Hoskins. You're going to see the interview I had here with Bill Eiger. They found a group called the Missouri Freedom Caucus. They're the founding members of this caucus, holding Missouri accountable to true America, missouri first policies and procedures. So the rhinos kick them out, shut them down, and it's just absolutely nothing. The only word it's Jackassery. And it's going on. And all across the state, in every county, there are Republican committee, committee people, committees and Republican county groups of various sizes. In every county multiple groups of Republicans were coming out and writing formal letters of condemnation about the behavior. So we're gonna have Bill Igelon. He's running for the governor of the state of Missouri.

Speaker 1:

Love this guy. I met him in Branson last summer. He came down and graced us with his presence at my determined patriotism event in Branson, gave a great talk. He is. You know, he's America first, he's Missouri first. He's got common sense, you're gonna see. He's articulate and I encourage you to go to billigelcom. You'll see that information on the bottom of the screen throughout the interview.

Speaker 1:

But we have got to stand up and shout out about this ridiculousness, jefferson City. You know Cindy O'Laughlin, for example. You know what she thinks of you, you people who would dare to get involved in your grassroots political arena. You know those of you who are worried about election fraud, about medical tyranny, who are worried about the border, open borders, worried about education of your children, the transgender movement, this whole coalition of immorality that's been cast upon us by the radical left and Rhino class. You know, cindy O'Laughlin would say to you just go home. You guys have no business really in Jefferson City and the capital, just go back home and worry about your school boards. She said that, and the reason I bring it up is because there are people in your state who say that, in the elected class, who say the same things. So this example of Missouri can cascade and blanket and cover any state. What happens here is happening in your state. Count on it.

Speaker 1:

And so I want Bill Eagle to come on and talk about this. I sat down with him. He came on the show just a moment ago and so, without further ado, until I'm fired up about this, because these rhinos are absolutely jamming the process, bill Igel, ladies and gentlemen running for governor, here he is. Check out the interview. Hi, everybody, welcome to the right side, with Doug Bellix Today talking about my home state of Missouri. I love Missouri. You all know I grew up there, just outside of Kansas City, in Grandview, missouri, and we have some Jack Astery going on in Jefferson City, missouri. Ladies and gentlemen, this week a lot of what I call intellectually immature behavior coming forth from the rhino portion of the Senate, especially in Jefferson City. You know that they have formed now a freedom caucus in Missouri and there are founding members of that organization. I have one of them here with me now Bill Eiger, senator Bill Eiger, from the state of Missouri, also running for governor from the great state of Missouri. Bill, thanks for joining me today.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, Doug, happy to be here.

Speaker 1:

Hey we. So I want to get right to. We've got 10 minutes, so I part of me, you know wants to laugh at this. Part of me wants to, you know, go punch a wall or something because it's so infuriating. We see the rhino class of the Republican Party acting out, and specifically Caleb Rodin, cindy O'Loughlin, two of the most famous of the rhinos. There are others, but Caleb, who is, if I've got this right is either Senate President pro tem, is that what I, what I, what he is for? So for the people from Raytown, missouri, tell us what that is.

Speaker 4:

So that basically means he's the guy that has a ton of influence over how legislation moves in the Senate. So he's the guy that refers bills to committee. He chooses the chairmanship and he has. He chooses what bills are taken in from committee. So he has a lot of influence over what is and what is not going to pass in the Senate.

Speaker 1:

How did he get that position? Was he voted in by his peers? Appointed by somebody? How did he get that position?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, he had to be voted in by a majority of the Senate chamber and of course this happened about a year and a half ago. To get that you have to have a majority of the Republican caucus and he got that not my vote, but he got enough votes votes from other Republicans who share some of his more liberal ideals that he's been in there ever since and you know he before he was the pro tem, he was the floor leader and I don't know that you can point to a point in history where the Republican caucus has been more divided than it has been under six years of Caleb's reign. So it's been pretty frustrating and each new day that dawns he seems like he's doing something else to set back conservative principles.

Speaker 1:

What about and let's talk about another specific senator in Missouri, Cindy Olaflin. Where does she fit in? What role does she play?

Speaker 4:

So she's the floor leader. So once bills are taken in from committee she kind of sets up a schedule of when we're going to we're going to negotiate the bills. How much floor time they get is critical to passing bills out of the chamber and getting them to a final vote, and that's been Cindy Olaflin.

Speaker 4:

I actually did vote for Cindy Olaflin when she first came to the Senate as a as the new majority floor leader and I got to tell you it's been really nothing but disappointment from Cindy who, arrived in Jefferson City, is voting Conservative and somebody who was actually a member of our conservative caucus. But really, you know, there was about after her second or third year she decided to leave that caucus and she has made a really hard turn to the left and now she's standing with many of the rhinos and left leaning senators in our caucus and this week she called for my expulsion for this from the Senate because she thinks I talked too much. So she's she's really turned her guns on the conservatives in our caucus and it's been. You know, I always expected that kind of behavior from Caleb. I didn't expect it from Cindy. It's it's been painful to watch to see Cindy assimilate into the swamp.

Speaker 1:

Now, and forgive me for being a little bit rudimentary here, but I want to set this up for the audience, just so they know the sense of how this is going down and how it's playing out. Cindy Olaflin, I know I may I'm going to paraphrase I don't know if this is the exact word for word quote, but the gist of what she said once upon a time was that people like me and people like the audience who watched the show, who are members of the grassroots conservative America first, or America, missouri first, you know movement, the people that want to see the swamp and the establishment drained, and people that support that or come from that, voted out she. She actually said something to the effect that, look, these grassroots members of various Republican groups and so forth should stay the heck out of formal politics and just go back home and worry about their school boards. I mean, do you recall that, or yeah?

Speaker 4:

she's, you know, doug, she's.

Speaker 4:

She said a lot of unfortunate things and I think that it really demonstrates that ever since she got into office she's lost her connection to one, the people that put her there in the first place, and really just the struggles of everyday Missourians, and nobody nobody is is.

Speaker 4:

Nobody regrets that more than I do, and so you know, indio Laughlin used to be a champion for some of the most conservative issues that we were fighting for before she got into office. But you know, being in office has a way of changing folks, and being in office, especially in Jefferson City, has a way of kind of changing their perspectives a little bit and they want to be accepted by the in crowd, the cool crowd and Jefferson City, and there's a lot of folks whispering into the ears of legislators in all of our state capitals, trying to pull them away from the grassroots that got them there and towards the status quo that is is being run by a few powerful people that are interested in I don't know on the path that she's on. I don't know if there's a more hurtful example of this happening than Cindy Laughlin right now, and I just I hate to see it. I'm hopeful that we're going to get the Cindy of old, I got to tell you the Cindy of 10 years ago would be the same thing that we're seeing today.

Speaker 1:

I have tried to walk a thin line when I am on this show and I talk about the rhino problem, because I know that within the audience at any given moment, there may be people who support people like Cindy O'Loughlin or Caleb Rowden. There might be people in the audience that support somebody like a Nikki Haley, whatever, who I view as part of the swamp establishment, and I want to make sure that we're not. I am not trying to lambast John and Jane Doe on the streets of Missouri for supporting these people. I am trying to educate, understand and awaken people to the swamp. So give me an insight, bill, into you know. You say, for one reason or another, these people, like Cindy or like Caleb and others, come into office one way, promising certain things, but over a period of time which sometimes doesn't take very long, they are drawn to the dark side, to the left. How does that happen? Are there the outside influences, big pharma, other big money donors? Do you think that's it?

Speaker 4:

Yeah, I think that has a lot to do with it. You know a lot of the big special interests that are trying to get legislation passed in Jefferson City are also funding a lot of campaign accounts. You know Cindy is out there as the majority floor leader asking for money on behalf of the Missouri Senate campaign caucus pack. And you know I don't know if there's expectations on her behavior, but you know she came into office like give you an example, she came into the office talking about how we needed to get our government spending under control, how we needed it to reduce waste in Jefferson City, and yet now she's voting and supporting every big proposal on spending that Governor Parsons or some of the other left I mean leaning members of our caucus have. So if you look at just her voting record from when she came in, you know our, our, our friends over at the American Conservative Union those are friends at CPAC. In her first year they've rated her at nearly 90% conservative. I mean very good score. She was in the top five of senators in the chamber last year. Her score dropped down to 63%. So not just a. You know this isn't just a. Hey, hey, we're, we're. We're calling her names now, all of a sudden, her voting record today is dramatically different than the voting records she received in her very first year of being in office.

Speaker 4:

And that's frightening. I mean, people hear about you know, they hear these stories and and have kind of this cynical attitude. Oh yeah, people just joined the swamp down there. This is really happening before our eyes with Cindy O'Loughlin, and you know I consider Cindy a friend and so I want to say to your audience as well I don't have any personal animosities towards Cindy or Kayla. I understand that they, they in their hearts, are probably doing what they think is right and and they've allowed themselves to to kind of buy into the rhetoric of Jefferson City down there. And nobody, I certainly don't celebrate that, no one should celebrate that. But this is about policy and on the policy that we're trying to pass, especially here in the state of Missouri, reducing the size of the government, delivering this big red policy wins, they've been far more of an impediment to doing that than they have been a help.

Speaker 1:

And into the outsider. I mean you look at Missouri and correct me if I'm wrong. You've got a super majority on the conservative side, right? I mean you guys should be able to do everything you want.

Speaker 4:

I mean on paper. We've got a lot of Republicans down here. You know, I've been traveling the state I'm running for governor, talking to a lot of Republicans and they're angry because in spite of all these super majorities we have, they never seem to get the big red policy wins. When you hear about big red policy wins happening in America, you're talking about states like Texas. You're talking about, you know, look at Greg Abbott down on the border right now, facing off against President Biden. He's rallying the support of conservatives all over the country to come protect the sovereignty of our border and the state of Texas or any of our states. Why don't you ever hear about that coming out of the state of Missouri? I mean, everybody knows who Greg Abbott is. Everybody knows who Rod DeSantis is.

Speaker 2:

Nobody's ever heard of our governor, nobody's ever heard of our leadership teams.

Speaker 4:

It is because their actions don't match their words. And that's why, instinctually, republicans across the state here in the Show Me state understand that they're being lied to, they're being gaslit by, whether it's Cindy O'Loughlin or it's Caleb Rowden, and they're angry about it. So we're going to do something about that in 2024. That's my commitment.

Speaker 1:

Right on and I want to talk about your, your candidacy for governor in a moment, and so, with regards to what's going on currently, this week kind of blew up in Jefferson City and Caleb removed I say fired people like you and like Rick Bratton, denny Hoskins and others from their leadership positions in various committees. And again, maybe it's ironic, maybe not, maybe it's related you, rick Bratton, denny Hoskins, holly Jones, over on the House side of the chamber, formed a freedom caucus, right, and I'll bet you a nickel that Caleb and Cindy go. Oh yeah, well, we're going to, we're going to now fire you. We're going to get rid of you because you're now in a pediment, you're. This is ridiculous and it was. It was it a little bit of retribution, because you don't see eye to eye?

Speaker 4:

Well, I don't think it. I think it was retribution because we've actually been stalling the chamber for the past couple of weeks trying to push through a reform of our initiative petition process as it relates to changing our Constitution. So in the state of Missouri right now we actually have a pretty low standard, relatively speaking, compared to other states, of what it takes to change the Constitution. Right now it just takes a simple majority in an election vote to change the Constitution much different than the federal Constitution and we've seen outside special interests take advantage of that. Right now pro-abortion forces are trying to reinshrine the institution of abortion in our Constitution and they're using this very flimsy initiative process to do so.

Speaker 4:

So conservatives, of which I'm one, conservatives have been working the Freedom Cawke has been working to pass a reform that we can submit to the voters of this state to change that process to require a bit more of a consensus if we're going to change our founding document. But that's got to make it through the Senate and the House, and so we've been kind of holding up some things in the Senate until our leadership takes action on that. And they've resisted. Until yesterday they had resisted taking any action, but we made kind of a big stink and we were using the filibuster to slow things down. Finally, yesterday they started to move things through the system a little bit slowly and were a little bit optimistic today.

Speaker 4:

But before they did that they retaliated against us, stripped us of our chairmanship to reduce and try to silence our voices, and they even took our parking spaces.

Speaker 1:

And this is yes, this is the Jack Astery that I want to talk about. I mean, they take away your parking space. You have to walk the length of a football field, if not more.

Speaker 4:

Maybe that's good for me. You know, Get your steps in, yeah sure.

Speaker 1:

But I love the way that you guys are taking the high road, because I watched, I saw you guys in the parking lot on. I think it was lawn chairs or something, but you did your little podcast from the parking lot. So you, they've taken your offices, they've taken your parking spot, they're threatening to take your furniture. I mean, come on.

Speaker 4:

That was the next step. They were threatening to take our office furniture out of our offices so we'd have to sit on the floor. I mean, this is the level of pettiness that they've gone to and I mentioned earlier. You know, sidney Loughlin's calling for my expulsion now, and really the reason they're doing this is because we make them uncomfortable. I mean, we that's what we do. We are the establishment forces in that building. We make them uncomfortable.

Speaker 4:

They're trying to do whatever they can to silence, and you know who else is a victim of this kind of thing is is Donald Trump. I mean Donald Trump. We've got the left who is trying to pull him off the ballot. We've got the left who's out there trying to, you know, charge him with crimes that are just these, these ridiculous charges, and what it, what it does is it actually solidifies Republican support for Donald J Trump. Well, that's starting to happen here in Missouri now, these that you know, cindy and Kayla, don't realize that they're actually raising the profile of the Freedom Caucus and actually getting folks all over the state to rally around us. In fact, we've had now almost a dozen Republican central committees come out and condemn the actions of Senator Rowden and Senator Loughlin and it's been it's. It's actually been pretty significant to watch the people of this state come out and say, yeah, we're tired of their, their pettiness and divisiveness, and I think there's going to be some pushback, real pushback, from the Republican electorate over the failed leadership policies in the Senate.

Speaker 1:

I am. I'm scrolling through some of these things that I've seen on the the web. Your your spot on and I is specifically with the Missouri Republican committees. I know Melissa Thomas, cindy a haggard, just to name a couple. They, their committees, and these letters throughout the state, almost every county, condemning what this, this childlike nonsense that's going on and it's backfiring. I I think if they take your furniture, you guys need to get patio furniture set up your offices like with the best patio furniture. You can and and and do some more podcasts, because I mean it, it's crazy.

Speaker 4:

Yep, they're, they have. I think they're completely overwhelmed. They don't know what to do. And this is this is a result of us being willing to stand up and make a fuss that if they're not going to push Republican principles and they're not going to protect the Constitution and they're not going to protect the pro-life cause in this state, then we're going to make life difficult for them and they're not going to be able to silence us. We're not going to just sit down and shut up. We're going to be bold about the fact that we're here. We were elected by the people in our areas and we're going to represent those folks on the Senate floor.

Speaker 1:

I just was got another text from a Tom Bloom horse. He's another committee leader in Salinas County and uh.

Speaker 4:

Celine.

Speaker 1:

Celine, celine and right, thank you. And. And they've got a huge, great, well oiled machine down there and they're absolutely riled up about the nonsense from uh Raiden and and uh Olaflin. So, all right, freedom Caucus we know what that is. You, I think, running for governor. First of all, tell us you and I met in Branson last summer. I was holding my determined patriotism conference. You graced us, you came down and you spoke at that event. You are, you're like a Trump. I mean and people out there sometimes think that's a bad word I'm a Trump guy. We need Trump back in. We need to put America first. We need to get a grip on what's going on in Missouri. So I want people to know where they can go find you to support your campaign for governor.

Speaker 4:

Yeah, yeah, billlikelecom. That's my website. Billlikelecom. If you, if you, if you're listeners want to hear about my platform, you know it's a great platform. We're talking about protecting our farmland, cutting taxes, getting the budget under control, protecting life in the state of Missouri, doing all those. Not just doing all the big red Republican things, but being a leader in these United States. You know Missouri. The people of the state have chosen overwhelmingly the Republican brand as.

Speaker 4:

I articulated under the GOP platform, we ought to be right up there with the Florida's and Texas's of this country, we ought to be standing next to them and setting the example. But we're not doing that because we really have a center left coalition in Jefferson city, led by, unfortunately, our governor and some in leadership over in the Senate in the house, that they see something else. They see as kind of as a middle of the middle of the road state, and I just don't buy into that. And so I mean a lot of folks that are frustrated like I am. And if I tell those folks, you're not alone, you don't have to be afraid, go to billiglecom, check it out, let's go Missouri.

Speaker 1:

Billiglecom. We'll have that on the bottom of the screen. I have a couple, just two more brief questions before I let you go. Bill, when I say, what would you do as governor when I say this China buying Missouri farmland or just any land in Missouri, what's your response to that?

Speaker 4:

Never so good so but but I'll have to Would you take executive action to just stop that right now. We're going to put, we're going to put it absolutely, we're going to put a stop to that. But here, doug, I want to say something. Let me add something to that, because I'm the only candidate, that not only doesn't want China buying any of our farmland.

Speaker 4:

I don't want any foreign country buying any of our farmland. It doesn't mean that we don't have countries that we don't get along with and we don't have countries that are considered our allies. But listen, I want our food supply, our farmland. I want it to be owned by Missourians, or at least Americans, and if we're going to sell it, china is the one that's the low hanging group. Of course, china should not be buying our farmland. I don't want anybody else that's foreign to be buying our land either. There's a lot of countries out there that have organizations that don't like us, and so that's why I'm going to stick to my guns and saying that we shouldn't be selling one single one square inch of Missouri to any foreign entity in this state.

Speaker 1:

Amen. Well, I'm certainly with you on that. Well met, and with you on almost all of the issues. What you also, I should remind the audience you have an event coming up in Jefferson City on Tuesday whereby you're going to be publicly addressing this. You want to tell the audience a little bit about that.

Speaker 4:

Yep Tuesday. I believe that's the 30th yes, tuesday, the 30th. At noon in the capital rotunda in Jefferson City there's a rally for the Freedom Caucus members who are trying to get some of these issues Swear it away in past, and so if you want to come down and help us fight for your state, don't be late. Come join us noon on Tuesday, on January 30th. We're going to be down at the Missouri capital.

Speaker 1:

I was invited to be part of that. I'm honored to be there. I will be there, bill, and looking forward to standing shoulder to shoulder with you and the Missouri Freedom Caucus. I appreciate you taking the time. Ladies and gentlemen, billiglecom will have the information for him at the bottom of the screen throughout this interview. Bill, I promise you I wouldn't take much of your time, but thanks for shining a light on a problem that the entire country needs to be aware of, and that is the issue that we have with rhinos in the elected class.

Speaker 4:

Bet Any time, Doug. Hopefully you'll have me back real soon. Let's go Missouri.

Speaker 1:

Let's do it Go Missouri and go chiefs. Thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. Billigle, candidate for the governorship of the state of Missouri, currently a sitting senator in the state. We appreciate him very much. Stay with me. God bless you Cheers.

Speaker 1:

Well, there it was, ladies and gentlemen, my interview with Missouri Senator Bill Igel. Bill is also running for the governorship of the state of Missouri. I encourage you to go over to billiglecom. Check it out over there. Preferably, consider supporting him, no matter where you are in the country. And again, this is the kind of Jack Asserie that he and I just talked about. That's going on in the Missouri State Capitol, but I can guarantee you that you have similar abject nonsense and BS going on in your state Capitol, precisely because of people who claim to be Republicans but who are not Republicans in name only. And, ladies and gentlemen, don't also forget to head over to Doug Billingsus, my website. You can see every show that we've ever done over there or free. Look and feel better, live younger, be more active, less pain when you move around, sleep better, diminish the lines and the wrinkles on your face? Really, this is what I'm telling you. It's possible. You see, low stem cell activity happens when we get older and it could be causing many of the health problems that some people have in the world today, because, as we get older, we have less stem cell activity, which means we age faster and we heal slower. The secret is a clinically proven and patented phototherapy non-transdermal patch whose technology is the result of over 90 clinical studies and over 20 years of research. Your healthier life can begin today and you can discover true age reversal.

Speaker 1:

Age reversal, ladies and gentlemen. Please go to liveyungerwithdougus. Liveyungerwithdougus, ladies and gentlemen, get over there today. Or, if you'd like, text my name Doug to 41372. Doug, text it 41372 and get over to liveyungerwithdougus. Get younger, feel younger. I'm doing it, I'm wearing this patch, I feel great and so will you. God bless you, ladies and gentlemen, for the Republic. Cheers the Right Side with Doug Billings.
