Folks, this week's primaries delivered a thunderous message: the American people are done with obstruction and are holding Republicans accountable to the America First mandate.

In this hard-hitting episode of The Right Side, Doug Billings breaks down the decisive ousting of Thomas Massie in Kentucky’s 4th Congressional District. Voters chose America First fighter Ed Gallrein — a farmer and former Navy SEAL — over the incumbent whose record of voting against border security, DHS funding, ICE deportations, and key tax relief directly blocked the 2024 landslide agenda.

This is the Trump Effect working exactly as designed: real accountability so the party finally delivers results instead of gridlock.

Doug also torches the “kook-speak” flooding conservative media this morning — the commentators who admit “I don’t know what’s going on” yet scream “the system is rigged” and “this must be 5D chess” for clicks and revenue. This kind of intellectual malpractice distracts from the real momentum and insults the intelligence of engaged voters.

Powerful, fact-based analysis, historical perspective, behind-the-scenes insight, and genuine conservative hope: the America First agenda is moving forward, the movement is maturing, and the best days for the republic are still ahead.

The Right Side with Doug Billings. Hello, America. Hello, world. Welcome to the special edition of The Right Side. I'm Doug Billings, your host, coming to you from SmackDab in the middle of the Fruited Plain. Ladies and gentlemen, what happened in yesterday's primaries, especially in Kentucky's fourth congressional district, it wasn't just another election. It was a thunderous and a crystal clear verdict from the American people. We are done with obstruction. We're done with gridlock, and we're holding every Republican accountable to the America First mandate that we delivered in the historic 2024 landslide. So, my friends, look, this is exactly how a healthy republic is supposed to function. Yesterday, voters in Kentucky decisively chose Ed Galeraine, a farmer, former Navy SEAL, and a true America First fighter over the longtime and long-term incumbent Thomas Massey. So this race became the most expensive House primary in American history for one simple reason. The base, you and me, were wide awake, we're informed, we're absolutely finished with anybody who stands in the way of delivering the results that we voted for. So let's get straight to the facts that mainstream media and even some so-called conservative commentators are desperately trying to spin. Thomas Massey didn't lose because of some mysterious conspiracy or because voters suddenly turned on conservative principles. He lost because his own voting record directly obstructed the core America First agenda that the American people demanded. Here's the unvarnished truth about all of it. Massey was the lone Republican, repeatedly voting against critical border security, Department of Homeland Security funding bills, including measures that delivered billions of dollars for ICE deportations. He opposed key elements of the major tax and spending package designed to deliver relief to working families. And he bucked the administration on multiple national security priorities that protect you and America interests first. So these are not some kind of abstract libertarian ideals. Those votes were direct roadblocks to the policies sealing the border, enforcing the law, strengthening the economy that produced the landslide victory that we brought about in 2024. So don't give me all the nonsense about his single high score that he got on some how conservative is he test. That doesn't erase concrete votes that he cast that hindered the people's will in this country. So, ladies and gentlemen, this is the Trump effect working exactly as it should. It's not about one man, it's not about making Trump a god. Far from it. This is about holding every Republican accountable so that the party finally can deliver the agenda that won in overwhelming fashion. True conservatism has never been about solitary, you know, grandstanding or turning every issue into a personal stage for theatrics. It's always been about winning for the American people. Now, I have to address something, uh, one of my pet peeves, and it happens across parts of conservative media and the landscape that we enjoy here on the right side. This morning, uh, it was driving me crazy because so it's so unnecessary, it's so damaging, it's so low rent, it's so low intelligence. There are certain voices out there who just happened to own a microphone and purchased, you know, podcast equipment off Amazon.com, who woke up apparently one day and immediately started pumping out the most ridiculous kook speak imaginable. And I know that you've all heard it. These people look at the clear primary results that we just saw from yesterday and they th and they say out loud, Well, I think the system's rigged. And then the very next sentence, without skipping a beat, they say, I don't know what's going on. I don't know what's going on, but it's all rigged. If you openly admit that you don't know what's going on, then you have zero credibility to lecture the rest of America about current events, about politics, or about the state of play in our republic. That's not analysis, folks. That's intellectual malpractice. Now, here's a pro tip for those commentators, and they desperately need it. Stop talking. Stop talking when you have no idea what you're talking about. They won't heed the advice, they'll keep on doing it anyway because they know exactly how to game the algorithm. Throw out an edgy conspiracy-flavored soundbite, watch the clicks and revenue roll in, forget about credibility. It's the content farming that they do. And it's all dressed up as some kind of a bold truth-telling exercise when it's not. And the absolute king of this kook speak is their tired, lazy, and overused line. This has got to be 5D chess. This has got to be that. Give me a break. You know, back in the day, people did use 3D chess to outline how Trump was always one step ahead of the competition. Today, this is an old feeble attempt to try to hearken back to that. And I just want to call that kind of nonsense exactly what it is. 5D chess, it's not brilliant multidimensional strategy. When people say that, it's a cop-out. And it's what people say when straightforward voter accountability catches them flat-footed and off guard. And it turns real observable events, you know, engaged citizens rejecting obstruction and demanding results into some kind of a colluded uh fantasy game where nothing is ever what it seems. Everybody's against us, everybody in government. It's just a show. So this kook speak does three destructive things all at once. First, it insults the intelligence of the American voter. Yesterday's primaries were not the result of some shadow plot. They were the result of informed conservatives showing up and voting their principles. It's determined patriotism. Secondly, it distracts from the real work that we have ahead of ourselves. Because while those commentators chase imaginary chess moves and clickbait, the rest of us are focused on delivering border security, economic strength, law and order, saving our kids, and developing and saving and restoring sovereignty in this country. Third, it confuses and it discourages the very people that we need to be engaged. Everyday salt of the earth people who are paying attention and expecting results. So, my friends, the conservative movement has never advanced through conspiracy theories or, you know, multidimensional metaphors. Uh-uh. It's advanced through clarity and through courage, through determined patriotism, through consistent delivery, through the truth. Ronald Reagan didn't win by telling people that the system was rigged in ways that only he could decode. He won by speaking plainly, by offering bold solutions and trusting the American people. Yesterday proved that the same principle is alive and well. MAGA is alive and well. Please give yourself permission to disassociate from all of the Alex Joneses and the Tucker Carlsons, the Candace Owens, the Megan Kellys who are trying to convince you that MAGA is dead. They're only interested in clicks. They're not interested in you. They're not interested in delivering the truth to you. The real upside of what happened yesterday, and this is the part that nobody else is telling you, removing obstacles like Massey creates genuine momentum. And whenever a Republican understands that the voters will hold them accountable, the entire party becomes more disciplined, more effective, and more focused on results instead of sound bites. So the path is clearing for faster action on sealing the border once and for all, quicker enforcement of our immigration laws, swifter tax relief for working families, law and order back in your communities and red states, and national security priorities that put America first, always. You all, this is how the Republic grows. You see it. This is how the America First agenda put forth by Trump moves from the campaign promises, and he's met them all. Don't be seduced by the kooks and the intellectual immaturity of people who tell you that he's not even running on what he campaigned on. That's, I mean, it's just abject intellectual vacancy when people say that. And we're moving from the campaign to tangible victories that improve the lives of hardworking Americans. So the conservative movement is not fracturing, it's maturing. And it's maturing into the disciplined force for American greatness that the country has been waiting for. There is real electric hope in this moment. And yesterday proved that engaged citizens can still make the system work. Voters are wide awake, they're demanding delivery, and they're getting it. The Trump effect is delivering exactly what it was designed to deliver. A Republican Party that actually wins for the American people. Folks, the look, the message from Kentucky and from every primary yesterday is simple and it's powerful. The America First Agenda is moving forward. The voters are making sure nothing and no one stands in their way, and the best days for this republic are still ahead of us. So if you agree that the Trump effect is working, the the kooks need to be called out, drop a comment below. Let me uh know what your thoughts are, let me know what your opinions are.
